It’s here… The 31 Days Blog Challenge. I don’t know WHAT I’ve gotten myself into, honestly. As I sit here and type this, I’ve sketched my 31 days out, I know what I’m going to cover, but…
I’m also doing the #CaptureYourGrief 31 Day Photo Challenge. And I just found out my grandma died and I’ll be out of town for the next week.
So, in over my head doesn’t really even begin to cover it. But, hey, would I have it any other way?
I’m very passionate about blogging your truth. What is that? Well, it’s whatever makes your story uniquely yours. Everyone has a story… but it’s what you do with that story that determines whether you’ve blog/write/share etc. your truth.
You see, the truth is the part no one wants to talk about. It’s the deep stuff. The raw stuff. The hard stuff. The sometimes dark and not always funny stuff. It’s the stuff books are made of, the stuff movies come from, the stuff you only hear on the news.
But it’s also the healing stuff. The helpful stuff. The things everyone wants to know about but no one talks about stuff. The things that readers are calling out for because they want to know they aren’t alone stuff.
I have it. You have it. And, I want to help you own your truth and learn to use it for good.
Here’s my plan:
Talk about my 10 Ways to Blog Your Truth printable by breaking it down for you. (You can see the printable below, and you can even get it FREE when you sign up for my newsletter, or you can buy it here.) Mixed in, I’ll also continue with my weekly Loss Mom Interview Series (next one goes up tomorrow), and instead of posting a photo each day from my #CaptureYourGrief photo challenge, I’ll do that once weekly and post all my photos from that week.
Sound good?
I sure hope you’ll join me as I share why I think it’s so important to blog your truth and what a difference it can make in your life – and in someone else’s.
Be sure to use my special hashtag: #BloggingYourTruth and share this series with your friends! The main page for the series, which will include links to all the other posts, can be found by clicking on the image below.
Ok, I just have to tell you that I saw the button and immediately clicked on it because Blogging Your Truth was a topic I considered writing about, and then it was YOUR BLOG!!! How crazy is that?? Seriously, though, I have a lot of truth to blog and have thought about doing that for a long time. There are people involved and some personal things that I don’t usually talk about, which is why I’ve hesitated, but I’ll definitely be following your series. Maybe that will lead to 30 Days in November…. 🙂
That’s awesome, Kelly! I actually have spoken at conferences on this topic. It’s one I’m pretty passionate about. 🙂 Be sure to download the free printable! 🙂
I downloaded the printable. Have to wait to print it out b/c my printer is out of ink, but I really like the 10 steps. I am looking forward to the series!
