Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book as a member of the NCBP Blogger Launch Team. I was asked to write an honest review – and it will be (you know me) – but all the extra stuff was totally extra, and totally my choice to share it with you.
As promised in my previous post, it’s almost time for a super fun, two-week campaign surrounding the new book, The Christian Parenting Handbook.
Excited yet?
I sure am! Now that the babies are in the toddler stage, my hubby and I are looking for ways to handle the parenting in a loving, Christ-like way. We’ve never been down this road before and we want to raise our children well, so when the opportunity came along to not only read this book, but be involved in helping the National Center for Biblical Parenting (NCBP) with their launch, I couldn’t pass it up.
There are so many awesome things to look forward to with this launch. Launch week is officially April 29th through May 5th, and during that week, I’ll be hosting two multi-prize, multi-winner giveaways – one here and one on a site I blog for called Thirty-One:10. I’ll be sure let you know when the other is up so you can visit the site and enter that giveaway too, don’t worry! Some of the awesome prizes include a copy of the book, amazing parenting resources from the NCBP website, and more! Trust me, you don’t want to miss out because these prizes WILL help you maintain your sanity while parenting.
PLUS, during launch week, there’ll be a third, special multi-prize, multi-winner giveaway with prizes including a Wii with sports pack, and iPad Mini, and some other awesome prizes (I don’t want to give away all the secrets today…).
I’ve already started reading the book, and I can’t wait to tell you more about it when I review it in the next few weeks. The handbook has 50 strategies to put in place that will help you raise Godly kids – no matter what stage of life their in. This is so important to Craig and me, so I know it’s probably important to most of you also.
The best part, aside from all the prizes, is that if you buy the book during launch week, NCBP will give you $400 in parenting resources absolutely free. Yes, FREE! It’s a pretty cool deal – I’ll share more about what’s included in your freebies when I post my review. What’s the catch, you ask? Well, they’re really hoping to get on the New York Times best-seller list, and as a future author, I certainly want to see them succeed!
One more thing I love about this campaign? They really, really want to involve their readers. They’re throwing a twitter party (you can follow @biblicalparenting on Twitter and the hashtag #heartparenting to stay in the loop) on May 1st at 7p.m. CT. I’ll let you in on a secret – there’ll be prizes there too!
So, I hope you’ll join me during the next two weeks here on my blog and over at the Thirty-One:10 blog to read my review, enter the giveaways, and hopefully win some prizes. And, of course, you’ll want to buy the book – but not until launch week so you can get your free goodies!
Be sure to share this post so your friends can learn about this awesome launch too. Better yet, pin it so that you don’t forget to check back!
